Sarmad Hussain Khan is a development sector expert with an experience of more than twenty (20) years in private sector development, institutional development, project management, stakeholder coordination, planning & development, project evaluations, value chain development, project appraisals, enterprise development, alliances & partnerships, investment mobilization, trade promotion, and financial management with a proven track record during my association with national and international organizations.
He is an Engineer from University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar and an MBA from LUMS Lahore. He has worked with public sector organizations that include Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development & Management Company (KPEZDMC), Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC), Board of Investment (BOI), and different departments of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
He is engaged as a Private Sector Consultant with World Bank Group since 2016 as well as I have been associated with different donor organizations that include ADB, USAID, FCDO, UNDP, UN FAO, KfW, Agha Khan Foundation, European Union (EU) and Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). He has a thorough understanding of different economic sectors with potential for development with vast experience in Industrial development, Minerals, Light Engineering, Technical Education & Vocational Training, Tourism, Agri-Business, Green Jobs, and Women Business Development.
